Design Inspiration

DIOS approached its adidas collaboration through a distinctly Texan lens.

The Megaride O1 provided an unusual foundation: a technical adidas runner originally associated with the early 2000s, recognizable for the mechanical-looking cushioning structure in its heel.

DIOS then layered Western influences over that technical platform. The retail collaboration incorporates leather, crocodile-embossed elements, decorative detailing and a zippered shroud, creating a sneaker that mixes Western craftsmanship with Y2K adidas running technology.

The standard KZ6598 version released publicly in August 2026. Your brown KZ6599 represents the Friends & Family execution of that concept, making it the more unusual collector piece.
