Will Smith famously wore Air Jordans throughout the series, including the Air Jordan 5, helping connect early-'90s basketball footwear with a broader generation of music, television and streetwear culture.

Jordan Brand revisited that history in 2018 to celebrate Will Smith's 50th birthday. The resulting Air Jordan 5 NRG “Fresh Prince” used the familiar White, New Emerald and Grape Ice palette while incorporating distinctive details inspired by Smith's laceless styling of the shoe.

Jordan also created matching apparel, including CJ7675-100, giving this shirt a direct connection to the 2018 Fresh Prince footwear release rather than merely using retro Jordan graphics.
